The
northern
Kunene region is one of Namibia's last remaining
wilderness areas, with off-the-beaten track destinations such as
the
Marienfluss and
Hartmann Valleys,
Epupa Falls,
Khowarib
Schlucht and
Witbooisdrift.
The
Epupa
Waterfalls in the Kunene river, are a succession of cascades where
the river drops a total of 60 metres, over a distance of 1,5 km's. As the
river drops, it divides into a multitude of channels and forms rock pools.
